1. Sarawak haze eases; hazardous API readings drop to two areas

   Haze conditions in Sarawak improved today, with hazardous API readings falling from six stations to two, though Kuching and Serian remain hazardous. Several areas outside Sarawak, including in Selangor and Sabah, saw air quality deteriorate to unhealthy levels.

   Sibu's Air Pollutant Index (API) breached the 300-mark, reaching a hazardous 326 as of 11am on Tuesday. Deputy Minister Datuk Michael Tiang advised residents to stay indoors and take precautions, especially vulnerable groups, as haze conditions worsened.
