More than 300 bid farewell as FDS crash victim Alexson Adit laid to rest in Lambir
Alexson Adit Henry, a 31-year-old Flying Doctor Service assistant medical officer, was buried at the Anglican Cemetery in Lambir, Miri, on Sept 14 after a funeral service at Good Shepherd Church in Lutong. He was one of five people killed when an FDS helicopter crashed near the Long Lellang STOLport in Ulu Baram on Sept 8.

AAIB investigators arrive in Miri to probe Long Lellang helicopter crash
The Air Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) team is expected to arrive in Miri today to begin investigating the helicopter crash near Long Lellang, Sarawak. The crash site has been cordoned off, and search and rescue operations will resume. The helicopter, a BO-105 from the Flying Doctor Service, was carrying five people when it crashed.

Sarawak welfare dept probes family sleeping rough in Miri, Batu Niah
The Sarawak Welfare Department is investigating reports of a family, including a young child, sleeping rough in Miri and Batu Niah.
