Ops Sasar: 1,155 undocumented foreign workers arrested in nationwide raids
The Immigration Department of Malaysia arrested 1,155 undocumented foreign workers during Ops Sasar raids conducted at 40 locations nationwide. The operation, which also inspected 2,254 individuals including locals, focused on industrial and commercial areas that frequently employ foreign workers. In Shah Alam, 117 individuals were detained, while 35 were arrested in Telok Panglima Garang.
