580kg crocodile caught in Batang Igan after disturbing fishing nets
A 580kg crocodile measuring 4.32 metres was captured in the Sebedil area of Batang Igan, Sarawak, early Thursday morning. The operation was launched after residents complained the reptile had been disturbing their fishing nets. A licensed hunter and the Sarawak Forestry Corporation took part in the joint operation.

Seorang lelaki berusia 38 tahun ditemui lemas selepas terjun ke Sungai Perak di Batu 18, Kampung Kuchai, Bota Kiri dekat Parit, semalam. Mayatnya ditemukan terapung kira-kira empat kilometer dari lokasi dia terjun pada pukul 2 petang, selepas operasi mencari oleh JBPM Perak membabitkan 30 anggota dari BBP Seri Iskandar dan BBP Kampung Gajah.

Remaja cuba hulur kayu, bapa saudara dikhuatiri lemas di Sungai Perak
Seorang lelaki berusia 38 tahun dikhuatiri lemas selepas terjun ke Sungai Perak untuk mengambil bot yang hanyut di Batu 18, Kampung Kuchai, Bota Kiri, Perak, petang semalam. Anak saudaranya, 13, berkata dia cuba menghulurkan kayu tetapi tidak sampai sebelum mangsa tenggelam. Operasi mencari dan menyelamat membabitkan 26 anggota bomba, termasuk pasukan penyelam dan anjing K9, dilancarkan pagi ini.
