Bapa Zara Qairina: Kali terakhir jumpa anak pada 2017 di Sipitang
Mahkamah Koroner di Kota Kinabalu mendengar keterangan bapa Allahyarham Zara Qairina, yang menyatakan kali terakhir beliau bertemu anaknya adalah sekitar 2017 di Sipitang. Mahathir, saksi ke-80, memberitahu mahkamah bahawa beliau tidak lagi tinggal bersama Zara dan ibunya sejak itu, dan hanya berhubung melalui telefon. Beliau juga berkata beliau berada di Beaufort apabila menerima mesej tentang Zara dimasukkan ke unit kecemasan pada 16 Julai 2025.

Two men arrested in separate Beaufort drug busts
Two men were arrested in separate drug cases in Beaufort, Sabah. One was caught with 5.74 grammes of suspected syabu in Kampung Lupak, while another tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine in a urine test. Both cases are being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.

Lawas teachers win RM1,000 for Canva Code teaching innovations
Ten teams of teachers from SK Agama (MIS) in Lawas showcased interactive teaching innovations built with Canva Code at the Canva Classroom Innovation Showcase 2026 on Aug 28. The event, which followed a two-month mentorship programme, saw Group 9 emerge as champion and win a RM1,000 cash prize.
