   Malaysian tower-running world champion Soh Wai Ching set a new national record by climbing Penang Hill's Heritage Trail in 25 minutes 55.25 seconds on Merdeka Day, his fifth Malaysia Book of Records achievement this year. The feat came two days after he broke his own record on Komtar's 68 floors. Soh credited his peak fitness and support from friends at checkpoints for the achievement.
