Proton donates RM200,000 worth of drones for Nepal flood relief mission
Proton has contributed drones valued at nearly RM200,000 to the Government of Nepal to support disaster response after recent floods. The equipment was handed over to Nadma at the SMART headquarters in Pulau Meranti for transport to Nepal, where SMART will train local agency staff.

PERKESO job fair at Kajang prison helps inmate find work before release
PERKESO, in collaboration with the prison department, held a special MYFutureJobs career fair at Kajang prison to help inmates find employment. A 37-year-old inmate from Port Klang, due for release on September 23, secured a job in general services and logistics. Employers at the fair conducted interviews directly at the prison and some provided food and lodging.

Sunway helps rehabilitation center residents build a new life
Sunway Group launched its #SunwayforGood food program at Rumah Sahabat in Hulu Langat, buying 5,000 burgers from the drug rehabilitation center's residents. The National Day event was attended by the Raja Muda of Selangor and involved 500 guests from 10 welfare homes in Selangor.

UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 Raises RM2.29 Million
UOB Malaysia's annual Heartbeat Run 2026 raised RM2.29 million for four main beneficiaries, including Yayasan SOLS, Yayasan PINTAR, Food Aid Foundation, and HOPE Worldwide Malaysia. The funds will support education, digital inclusion, food security, and community development programs benefiting about 6,000 underprivileged children, youth, and families across Malaysia. The event culminated at Pavilion Bukit Jalil with around 5,000 participants.
