Motorcyclists tour Lenggong heritage sites
A group of motorcyclists led by Norhadi Kaharuddin explored historical and heritage sites in Lenggong, Perak over four days from 28 to 31 August. The trip covered Hutan Lipur Lata Kekabu, Bukit Sapi, Lata Perahu, 'Mini Amazon' Kampung Beng and the Lenggong Valley Archaeological Gallery. Videos of the journey were shared on social media to highlight geological treasures such as the Perak Man skeleton.

Dusit Princess Ipoh hotel to open on 1 October, offering 268 rooms near city centre
Dusit Hotels and Resorts will open the 268-room Dusit Princess Ipoh on 1 October 2026. The hotel, owned by Plenitude Berhad, is located near the Perak Turf Club, about five minutes from Ipoh city centre and 10 minutes from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport. It features five room categories, an outdoor pool, a kids club, and a fitness centre.

42 Artworks by Perak Art Teachers on Show at The Silver Lab, Ipoh
An exhibition featuring 42 paintings and sculptures by 31 primary and secondary school teachers from Perak is being held at The Silver Lab on Jalan Datoh, Ipoh. The BANGUN!!! exhibition, which started on Sept 1, was officially opened by Yayasan Perak board member and Ayer Kuning assemblyman Dr. Mohamad Yusri Bakir.

In Padang Rengas, Perak, six siblings surprised their father, Z Rusli Che Awang, 60, with a Honda ADV160 scooter for his birthday on September 1. The overwhelmed father was seen crying and hugging his children after receiving the gift. His daughter, Nor Aqilah, said they planned the surprise because they knew of their father's interest in the motorcycle.
