1. SCDF full-time national serviceman dies after collapsing at Marina Bay fire station

   A 20-year-old full-time national serviceman from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) died in hospital on Sunday after he was found unconscious at the Marina Bay Fire Station training ground. Lance Corporal Muhammad Noor Ilham Muhammad Iszwadi was given CPR by colleagues and taken to Singapore General Hospital, where he died. Police said they do not suspect foul play.

2. Fire at Bukit Pasoh Road substation causes temporary power outage in Chinatown area

   A fire at an electrical substation at 43 Bukit Pasoh Road in Chinatown on Sept 1 caused a temporary electricity disruption to some premises in the area. The Singapore Civil Defence Force extinguished the blaze, and power was fully restored by 5.25pm. No injuries were reported.
