PM's political secretary: focus on the people, finish the term
The Prime Minister's political secretary, Datuk Azman Ab Rahman, said the Unity Government should focus on the people's business and complete its term rather than entertain challenges from certain quarters. He was speaking after opening the 25th branch of Kedai Emas Sri Semantan in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, and was commenting on UMNO President Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's remarks at the 2026 UMNO General Assembly in Kuala Lumpur.

PH ready for Melaka polls without formal talks with BN, says Adam Adli
Adam Adli Abdul Halim said the absence of formal negotiations between PH and BN so far has not affected PH's readiness for the Melaka state election. Melaka Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh has hinted that senior state executive councillor Rais Yasin will contest the Sungai Udang state seat in the next state election. Rais, who currently holds the Paya Rumput seat, said he would follow the party's decision on where he is placed. The hint was made at a carnival in Taman Seri Bertam, Sungai Udang.

Melaka CM hints state assembly dissolution within two weeks
