Meradong rep hands 20 glucometers to Bintangor Health Clinic
Meradong assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing presented 20 glucometers to Bintangor Health Clinic in Sarawak on Wednesday, saying the government will keep improving healthcare facilities for the community. He also inspected the clinic's upgraded canteen, which had new wiring, air-conditioning, fans, glass panels and doors.

Sibu Jaya water woes to end by year's end with new 900mm pipe
Sarawak Water Sdn Bhd says the intermittent water supply problem in Sibu Jaya is expected to be resolved by the end of this year. A larger 900mm-diameter main pipe is being installed to increase delivery capacity to 13 million litres per day. The update was given during a dialogue session with PDP Dudong, JBALB, and the Sibu Resident.

Sibu public markets to get AEDs under new emergency readiness push
Two AED units will be installed at Sibu Central Market and the Tiong Hua Road Temporary Market in Sibu, Sarawak. The initiative was announced by Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng Jin Ek during the World First Aid Day 2026 celebration, organized by the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Sibu Branch.
