  1. Melaka mulls raising minimum wage to RM2,500, says chief minister

    The Melaka state government is considering raising the minimum wage from RM1,700 to RM2,500, which would make it the first Malaysian state to do so. Chief Minister Ab Rauf Yusoh announced the proposal at a youth event in Ayer Keroh, saying it will be studied and sent to the federal government for approval.
