NAFAS, Chinese firms sign RM1.5b MoU for integrated fertiliser industry
The National Farmers Organisation (NAFAS) signed a five-year MoU with China's Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group and Jiangsu Chemical Design Institute at MAHA 2026 in Serdang. The RM1.5 billion collaboration aims to develop an integrated phosphate fertiliser industry, including a raw-material processing facility and long-term supply agreements. The signing was witnessed by Agriculture and Food Security Minister Mohamad Sabu.

Pineapple entrepreneur association expands SG1 cultivation area
The Pertubuhan Pengusaha Nanas SG1 Malaysia association was inaugurated at MAHA 2026 in Serdang, Selangor, with the aim of expanding SG1 pineapple cultivation to 2,000 hectares within six years. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security stated the target aligns with its goal of reaching RM2 billion in pineapple exports by January 2028.

PKPS, Nafas sign RM30m MoU to expand market access, strengthen agrifood supply chain
Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) and National Farmers Organisation (Nafas) signed a memorandum of understanding at MAHA 2026 in Serdang. The RM30 million collaboration will see both organisations distribute each other's products through their respective networks to expand market access nationwide.
