BEKAS bazaar at Plate District, Jalan Damansara on 15 September
The BEKAS @ Plate District bazaar will be held on 15 September from 6pm to 3am at Plate District, Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. With the theme 'Old Things, New Love', it brings together preloved goods, children's needs, local brands and food. It is an initiative by presenter Fiza Frizzy and her husband Fazli Zulkifli to activate Plate District as a multi-purpose event space.

Jalinan noodle bar opens in TTDI with Malaysian fusion dishes
Jalinan, a new noodle bar in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, opened in June and serves reworked Malaysian classics such as Dry Laksa Ulam and Sea Prawn Sambal Goreng. It is run by the team behind Fifty Tales and sources vegetables from Bentong, Perlis and Shah Alam, with fish from Kuala Selangor.

Heritage Valley KL generates RM4.6m sales, benefits 500 entrepreneurs
Heritage Valley Kuala Lumpur, an entrepreneurship hub on Jalan Doraisamy, has recorded cumulative sales of RM4.6 million since August 2025. The RM9.7 million project by UDA Holdings has benefited over 500 entrepreneurs and will be expanded to major cities.

UK's Goldsboro Books opens first overseas store at Sunway Square Mall
London-based Goldsboro Books has opened its first permanent store outside the UK at The Library by BookXcess in Sunway Square Mall, Selangor. The 140 sq ft Goldsboro Room, which opened on Aug 27, operates 24 hours and houses about 2,500 signed and collectible titles. The partnership with BookXcess aims to make these editions more accessible to Malaysian readers.

1 Mont Kiara hosts two-day Mid-Autumn festival with lantern and mooncake workshops
1 Mont Kiara in Kuala Lumpur will hold a two-day Mid-Autumn Festival celebration called Lanterns Aglow on 26 and 27 September 2026. The event features lantern decorating and mooncake baking workshops, plus free lanterns for the first 300 shoppers.
