Barra Restaurant gets Spanish certification, Eat Spain Drink Spain festival returns
Spain's ambassador-designate Sergi Farre Salva presented the Restaurants From Spain certification to Barra Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday, bringing the number of certified Spanish restaurants in the capital to eight. The event also launched the second edition of the Eat Spain Drink Spain festival, which runs from Sept 18 to Oct 4 at more than 40 venues across Malaysia.

Jalinan noodle bar opens in TTDI with Malaysian fusion dishes
Jalinan, a new noodle bar in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, opened in June and serves reworked Malaysian classics such as Dry Laksa Ulam and Sea Prawn Sambal Goreng. It is run by the team behind Fifty Tales and sources vegetables from Bentong, Perlis and Shah Alam, with fish from Kuala Selangor.

Vox Choir Festival returns to DPAC with four nights of choral performances
The 5th Vox Choir Festival will be held at the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC) from 18th to 20th September. The festival features performances from various community, church, and children's choirs, as well as a tribute to Stephen Sondheim. Tickets are priced at RM40.

Kwai Chai Hong unveils 'Lunar Harvest' installation for Mid-Autumn Festival
Kwai Chai Hong in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown has unveiled a new art installation called 'Lunar Harvest' for the Mid-Autumn Festival. London-based Goldsboro Books has opened its first permanent store outside the UK at The Library by BookXcess in Sunway Square Mall, Selangor. The 140 sq ft Goldsboro Room, which opened on Aug 27, operates 24 hours and houses about 2,500 signed and collectible titles.
