Most Johor Bahru city pedestrian bridges to be ready this year
Most of the pedestrian overhead bridges (POB) around the Johor Bahru city center are expected to be completed this year to support the RTS Link service at Bukit Chagar station. The remaining construction will continue until 2027. Jalan Jim Quee has also been closed to private vehicles to ease congestion.

JB commercial areas are short of parking due to Singapore workers. Can a new paid system solve this?
Johor Bahru has installed a new paid parking gantry system at Jalan Geroda to free up spaces long occupied by residents working in Singapore. The system, which started on Aug 21, has been welcomed by locals and businesses, and similar gantries are planned for Dataran Larkin and Larkin Perdana as part of efforts to ease traffic ahead of the RTS Link launch in 2027.
