   A 45-year-old man was seriously injured after falling from a tree while picking fruit at Gunung Berembun in Seremban. Firefighters from the Ampangan fire station conducted a search and rescue operation and brought him down to the base of the hill.

2. Fire in Kampung Padang Keladi Destroys Two Houses and Nine Vehicles

   A 45-year-old man died after the compactor roller he was driving lost control and plunged into a ditch while carrying out maintenance work at Kampung Anak Ayer Durian Daun, Kampung Pondoi, Tampin. He was taken to Hospital Tampin but was pronounced dead at 3pm. Police have opened an investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

4. Driver dies after being run over by his own lorry, believed to have forgotten to pull the handbrake

   A 72-year-old man died after being run over by his lorry in Taman Mawar, Machap Baru, Alor Gajah, Melaka. The lorry rolled forward, allegedly because the handbrake was not engaged, and struck the man as he walked towards a guard post. Police are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
