Kelly Group donates RM6,500 in milk powder and diapers to Kuching NGO Hope Place
Kelly Group, a group of local benefactors in Kuching, donated RM6,500 worth of children's milk powder and adult diapers to the NGO Hope Place. The donation was presented by group leader Lau Hong Eng to Hope Place founder Kelvin Wan at Nanas Road. The items are intended for young children and individuals with chronic illnesses supported by the organisation.

The elder brother of a fatal accident victim in Kuching has received assistance from the DAP's Tertiary Education Assistance Fund. Jain Kemin, who is studying architecture at UiTM, lost his brother Japin in the crash at Jalan Teo Kui Seng-Stutong Baru early last year.

1,149 residents in three Kabong villages get 2,298 boxes of mineral water
A total of 1,149 residents from three villages in Kabong, Sarawak, received 2,298 boxes of mineral water from the Sarawak Social Welfare Department (JKM) following haze and water supply issues. The aid was distributed yesterday to residents of Kampung Sungai Endot Lot Kabong, Kampung Hilir Tengah Kabong, and Kampung Masjid Lama Kabong. An additional 3,734 boxes are scheduled for delivery to five other areas today.

Kuching DAP provides RM56,000 aid to 31 storm-hit households
Kuching DAP has distributed RM56,000 in disaster relief aid to 31 households in Kuching affected by last week's storm. The aid, handed over by Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii and Pending assemblywoman Violet Yong, is meant to help with roof repairs and other costs. Applications for aid are open until Sept 15.

A charity musical night in Kuching aims to raise at least RM50,000 for Wishesland Kuching, a centre for children with cerebral palsy. The event will be held on Oct 25 at Xiang Ge Restaurant.
