Johor UMNO Youth wants party free to decide political cooperation for GE16
Johor UMNO Youth chief Noor Azleen Ambros said the party's cooperation with Pakatan Harapan in the Unity Government is only temporary. Speaking at the Youth debate during the UMNO General Assembly at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur, he said UMNO must be given room to set its own strategy for GE16.

Akmal: PH forced Umno to weigh PAS cooperation
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh told the wing's assembly at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur that Pakatan Harapan repeatedly forced Umno to choose between power and principles, which pushed the party to explore cooperation with PAS. He cited the Selangor pig farming controversy as an example of PH ignoring royal views. His remarks follow deputy president Mohamad Hasan's call for Umno to rely on its own strategies rather than PN, PAS or PH.
