    Police in Hilir Perak arrested two members of a loan shark syndicate during an 'Op Vulture' operation. They seized ATM cards belonging to other people and gold jewellery valued at RM2,050. The suspects are being investigated for fraud and dishonest concealment of property.

    Police have arrested a fifth suspect in connection with the robbery-murder of a 69-year-old man in Teluk Intan on April 17. The 26-year-old suspect was detained in Klang, Selangor, on Aug 26 and will be charged at the Teluk Intan Magistrate's Court. Four accomplices were previously charged in May.
