Sarawak to fund education of crash nurse's daughter Euodia until she becomes a doctor
The Sarawak government will cover the education expenses of Euodia, daughter of the late Flying Doctor Service nurse Debra Moset, until she becomes a doctor. Premier Abang Johari Tun Openg announced this at the PBB Northern Zone Special Convention 2026 in Miri, adding that similar aid will be considered for children of other victims of the Long Lellang helicopter crash that killed five healthcare personnel and a pilot on Sept 8.

Uggah wants PBB Telang Usan to target 5,000-vote majority in Sarawak polls
Sarawak Deputy Premier Douglas Uggah Embas has urged PBB members in Telang Usan to start working now to secure a majority of at least 5,000 votes in the coming state election. He said the party secured more than 3,000 votes in Telang Usan last time and hopes to raise that figure. GPS not perfect but committed to fixing weaknesses, says Premier's pol-sec
Datuk Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman said the Sarawak government under GPS does not claim to be perfect but is committed to acknowledging and collectively addressing its weaknesses. He spoke at the close of the PCDS 2030 programme at SM Pei Min in Miri, noting state revenue grew from about RM6 billion to over RM11 billion.
