The iconic mall, which had become a 'ghost town' with only 20 of 100 shops operating, now features spaces like Somewhere @ Bugis Street and the first physical store of Ruby Merlot.

Photographer urges Tampines town council to spare iconic brick facade from repainting
Architectural photographer Darren Soh has appealed to Tampines Town Council and MP David Neo to reconsider painting over the brick facade of Blocks 497A-L at Tampines Street 45. The blocks are slated for repainting, with residents voting on three colour schemes until Sep. 13. Soh argues the brick facade is historically and architecturally significant and that painting it would be an irreversible loss.

10 local businesses join Ang Mo Kio pilot to test new strategies
Ten new local businesses have joined a pioneering initiative in Ang Mo Kio to test new business strategies. The businesses, located in the Sprout@AMK temporary retail cluster, are part of Enterprise Singapore's 12-month Heartland Innovation and Transformation (HIT) programme. The initiative is supported by Enterprise Singapore, HDB, the Ang Mo Kio Merchants' Association and the Singapore Local Enterprise Centre.
