Sejiwa Social Club opens in Cyberjaya with pickleball, padel and dining
Sejiwa Social Club launched in Cyberjaya on 30 August 2026, occupying about 30,000 sq ft inside the 28-acre Royal Selangor Polo & Equestrian Club. The venue combines pickleball, padel, polo, equestrian activities, dining and entertainment, with courts named after Selangor's nine districts. The launch event featured celebrity court sessions, exhibition matches and a Merdeka countdown with fireworks.

Malaysian brand 2AM opens first 3D-printed footwear outlet at IOI City Mall
Malaysian footwear brand 2AM has opened its first standalone outlet in Malaysia at IOI City Mall. The brand, founded by Wong Kim Yoong, uses 3D printing to create shoes with unconventional designs from recyclable materials. Following an online launch in China last year, the new physical store allows local consumers to experience the brand's approach to 3D-printed footwear.

Yokai Tales exhibition brings Japanese folklore to KL Tower from Sept 4-30
An exhibition called 'Yokai Tales: Japan's 47 Prefectures' will be held at the Sky Garden at Kuala Lumpur Tower from 4 to 30 September 2026. It will feature artwork and sculptures inspired by Japanese folklore from three illustrators, along with live sessions and meet-and-greet opportunities.
