RM9,000 fine after cyclist killed in late-night collision
A 25-year-old woman was fined RM9,000 by the Magistrates' Court in Sibu after a collision that killed a cyclist in November 2025. Monica Yeo Siew Yieng was convicted under the Road Transport Act for driving without due care and attention. The incident occurred along Jalan Dr Wong Soon Kai, and the victim, Mazeri Ayong, died at Hospital Sibu.
