A vehicle spare-parts shop assistant pleaded not guilty at the Kuala Terengganu Sessions Court to causing grievous hurt to his wife on 5 September. Wan Noorazmilrullah Wan Noorabiddin, 37, was charged under Sections 325 and 326A of the Penal Code, and the court set 8 October for document submission.

Sepanggar murder case of senior citizen transferred to High Court
The Magistrate's Court in Kota Kinabalu has transferred the murder case of 72-year-old Piluta Samad to the High Court. Samad is accused of murdering his former fiancée, Hamidah Husin @ Lisa, whose dismembered body was found in Sepanggar. Man arrested for locking wife and children in Kuala Terengganu home
Police in Kuala Terengganu arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly assaulting and unlawfully confining his wife and four children inside their home in Desa Mutiara, Jalan Gong Badak. Father in Besut arrested for alleged sexual assault of two teenage daughters
