1. Lawyer: Ismail signed proclamation knowingly, without duress

   A lawyer representing dismissed Undang, Tunku Besar Tampin and Dato Shahbandar claims Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim signed the proclamation to remove Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz knowingly and without coercion. He said Ismail's claim that he signed the document without consent is an afterthought. Ismail previously insisted the proclamation signed on 3 August at Istana Laguna Biru, Port Dickson was invalid and unconstitutional, and lodged a police report on 8 September 2026.

Rais, who currently holds the Paya Rumput seat, said he would follow the party's decision on where he is placed. The hint was made at a carnival in Taman Seri Bertam, Sungai Udang.
