MACC remands senior medical officer over alleged RM1.5mil knee implant supply abuse
A senior medical officer in his 50s has been remanded for five days by the Melaka MACC over alleged abuse of position involving the supply of knee implants worth about RM1.5 million. The remand order was issued at the Ayer Keroh magistrate's court, and the suspect is believed to have an interest in a company supplying the implants, suspected to be owned by family members.

Driver dies after being run over by his own lorry, believed to have forgotten to pull the handbrake
A 72-year-old man died after being run over by his lorry in Taman Mawar, Machap Baru, Alor Gajah, Melaka. The lorry rolled forward, allegedly because the handbrake was not engaged, and struck the man as he walked towards a guard post.
