Kulai police shoot at Myvi tyres after couple ram officers
Police in Kulai fired a shot at the tyres of a Perodua Myvi after two suspects rammed an officer on Jalan Kenari, Bandar Putra, Kulai early yesterday. An URB member suffered minor leg injuries, while the 23-year-old man and woman were arrested within 24 hours around Bandar Putra and Kluang. The case is being investigated under Sections 307, 332 and 186 of the Penal Code.

Johor Immigration detains 47 undocumented migrants in Senai raid
Johor Immigration officers raided residential areas around Senai in Kulai at 12.30am and detained 47 undocumented migrants aged 20 to 48. The group comprised Myanmar, Bangladeshi and Indonesian nationals without valid travel documents or who had overstayed. They are being investigated under the Immigration Act 1959/63 and held at the Setia Tropika Immigration Depot.

Man charged with murder of teen in Kulai Vellfire crash
A 26-year-old man was charged in the Kulai Magistrate's Court with murdering a 17-year-old girl in an incident at Bulatan Persiaran Indahpura 4 on August 25. He also faces four charges of attempted murder. Four other teenagers pleaded not guilty to mischief charges related to the same incident.

Same lorry detained again in Johor, 2,500 litres of subsidised diesel seized
Johor's KPDN detained a lorry at a construction site in Mukim Pulai, Iskandar Puteri, yesterday for suspected diesel diversion. The same lorry had previously been penalised for the same offence. Two men were arrested and the value of the seizure is estimated at RM33,075.
