Amanah rejects UMNO's push for early polls, wants full term served
In Johor Bahru, Amanah deputy president Mujahid Yusof Rawa said the government should serve out its term until 2027 and need not entertain UMNO's calls for an early general election. He said economic and cost-of-living issues still need attention, and that Amanah is ready for polls whenever they are called.

Singapore's Home Team Academy will upgrade its training facilities with a virtual shooting range and a training village featuring virtual and augmented reality. The academy will also use artificial intelligence to enhance training for officers from agencies like the police and immigration. Minister Edwin Tong announced the plans at the academy's workplan seminar on Sept 8.
