1. Two former childcare workers in Kuantan plead not guilty to neglecting, abusing children

   Two former childcare workers were charged at the Kuantan Sessions Court with neglecting and abusing two children at a nursery in Taman Cenderawasih Indah. Norlida Abdul Razak, 39, and Zairifah Zainal Abidin, 31, pleaded not guilty and were granted RM8,000 bail each. The case is set for mention on Oct 26 for document submission.

2. Ex-KPTM Ipoh administrator faces six charges over female students

   A former administrator of Kolej Poly-Tech Mara (KPTM) in Ipoh was charged in court with six offences involving alleged criminal force against two female students and obscene words against four others. Roykarnaen Maseri, 44, pleaded not guilty to all charges, which were allegedly committed at the college and other locations in Ipoh between June and August. The court set bail at RM8,000.
