Keningau quakes expose gaps in Sabah fault mapping, geologist says
A series of small earthquakes in Keningau has shown that the district's fault systems are far less mapped than those in Ranau, geologist Prof Emeritus Dr Felix Tongkul said. He said the tremors are small and no major quake is imminent, but called for more detailed studies and stronger seismic monitoring in Sabah's interior.
