Jalan Jim Quee in Johor Bahru to close to private vehicles from next year
Jalan Jim Quee in Johor Bahru will be fully closed to private vehicles from next year following the operation of the RTS Link. The road will be reserved for buses, taxis and officials on duty at the CIQ, while e-hailing services will be moved to Jalan Tun Razak. Pedestrian bridges to support the RTS Link are expected to be fully completed by 2027.

F1 Singapore GP: Marina Bay, Padang roads to close from Oct 7; MRT, bus hours extended
The Land Transport Authority announced road closures in the Marina Centre and Padang areas from Oct 7 to 13 for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix. MRT and bus services will be extended during the race weekend from Oct 9 to 11 to manage the expected crowd.

Two men charged for dangerous driving under influence of etomidate in separate incidents
Two men were charged in a Singapore court on Sept 3 for allegedly driving against traffic while under the influence of etomidate. The incidents occurred separately in Jurong West and Choa Chu Kang, with no injuries reported in either case.
