1. Police await blood test results of lorry driver in fatal LPT 1 crash

   Temerloh district police are awaiting blood test results of the cement tanker driver involved in an 11-vehicle accident at KM 110.4 of the LPT 1 highway in Lanchang, Temerloh on August 31. The crash killed four people, including a family of three. The 52-year-old driver is still being treated at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital (HoSHAH), Temerloh.

He was treated at the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh but passed away yesterday. His father said his son was fit and had completed the challenge in previous years.

   Four people were killed in an 11-vehicle crash on the East Coast Expressway 1 (LPT1) near Kuantan, Pahang. The accident occurred at KM110 from Lanchang towards Kuantan, and firemen had to extricate the victims from two vehicles. A bus was also involved, but all 30 passengers escaped unharmed.
