1. Tamil workshop draws 50 students at National Library

   A Tamil language workshop, 'Tamil is Beautiful!', was held on Friday (September 11) at the National Library Board premises in Singapore. Organised by Tamil Aruvi Learning Resources, it drew about 50 primary and secondary students. For the first time, students who do not speak Tamil at home and those with non-Tamil parents took part.

2. All PCF Sparkletots preschools to offer three mother tongues from 2027

   Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong announced that all PCF Sparkletots preschools will offer Chinese, Malay and Tamil from 2027, expanding mother-tongue learning across 350 centres nationwide. He said nearly 40,000 children will benefit, speaking at an event at One Punggol.

3. Third MOE Outdoor Adventure School campus opens on Kusu Island

   A new 12-hectare campus of Singapore's Outdoor Adventure School (OBS) was officially opened on Kusu Island on Friday. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong opened the site, the school's third branch after Pulau Ubin and East Coast. By 2030 all secondary school students are to attend an outdoor adventure camp.
