Selangor records RM70bil approved investment as of June, eyes RM80bil target
Selangor recorded RM70 billion in approved investment value as of June this year, with services and manufacturing the biggest contributors. State investment, trade and mobility committee chairman Ng Sze Han said the state is confident of hitting its RM80 billion target within months. He spoke after officiating the factory and central workshop of logistics vehicle company Steelbro in Telok Gong, Port Klang.

Selangor: 70% of investor issues resolved, Mondelez opens RM90m Shah Alam crumb tower
Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said Invest Selangor has resolved 74 of about 138 investment-related issues as of July, with over 60 site visits this year, giving a success rate of around 70%. He spoke in Shah Alam after launching Mondelez International's RM90 million Crumb Tower at its Cadbury Confectionery Malaysia plant, which will allow local chocolate crumb production instead of imports from South Africa and Australia.
