China firms sign RM3.2b in deals at MAHA 2026, a third of total
China accounted for nearly one-third of the RM10.3 billion in deals secured at MAHA 2026, held at MAEPS in Serdang. Malaysian and Chinese parties signed 17 MoUs worth RM3.2 billion covering agro-food products and technologies. The exhibition, which ran from Aug 28 to Sept 6, attracted about 4.3 million visitors.

The MAHA 2026 agriculture exhibition at MAEPS, Serdang, closed with 4.3 million visitors, surpassing its four million target. Sales reached RM66.88 million, and MoUs worth RM10.3 billion were signed during the event from August 28 to yesterday.

MAHA 2026 closes with RM66.88m sales, 4.3 million visitors
The Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA) 2026 closed at MAEPS, Serdang, recording RM66.88 million in sales and RM10.35 billion in collaborations through 97 MoUs. The 10-day exhibition attracted 4.30 million visitors and its closing was officiated by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Sarawak Pavilion wins best state pavilion at MAHA 2026
The Sarawak Pavilion was named the Best State Pavilion and overall champion at MAHA 2026, held at MAEPS in Serdang. The win brought a cash prize of RM15,000 and a certificate, received by M-FICORD's permanent secretary, Datu Sirai Daha, from Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

Tunggul Melati Trail 2026 draws 1,525 runners with new challenges across Selangor and Negri Sembilan
The second edition of the Sports Tourism Expo & Tunggul Melati Trail 2026 (TMT'26) is being held at Kolej Vokasional Sepang, featuring 1,525 participants from 25 countries. The event offers six race categories, with routes crossing Sepang, Selangor and Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, and is expected to draw 3,000 visitors.

MoU value at MAHA hits RM9.3 billion, exceeding RM8 billion target
Memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Exhibition (MAHA) at MAEPS, Serdang reached RM9.3 billion, exceeding the initial RM8 billion target. Agriculture Minister Mohamad Sabu said visitor numbers reached 2.77 million by the seventh day, with sales value at RM16.3 million.
