Man fined RM6,000 for farming without permit in Angsi Forest Reserve
A 61-year-old man was fined RM6,000 by the Seremban Sessions Court after pleading guilty to running farming and livestock activities without a permit in the Angsi Permanent Forest Reserve. Lee Kai Sang was accused of planting calamansi, durian and bananas and rearing stingless bees and freshwater fish in a pond at Compartment 55 of the reserve last August. Judge Shahrul Rizal Majid also ordered two months' jail if the fine is not paid.

Lorry driver fined RM30,000 for obscene WhatsApp messages to ex-wife's husband
A 50-year-old lorry driver was fined RM30,000 by the Sessions Court in Seremban after pleading guilty to five charges of sending obscene pictures and videos via WhatsApp to his ex-wife's current husband in March 2023. Mohd Suhaimi Yusof was also given a two-month jail term for each charge if he fails to pay the fine. He was charged under Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

Lorry driver fined RM30,000 for sending ex-wife's explicit videos and photos
A 50-year-old lorry driver, Suhaimi Yusof, was fined RM30,000 by the Seremban sessions court after pleading guilty to sending two obscene videos and three obscene images of his ex-wife to her new husband via WhatsApp. The offence took place in Mantin on March 22, 2023, and he was fined RM6,000 for each of the five charges under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

A 58-year-old Indian national was ordered to serve one hour of community service and fined RM100 by the Seremban Sessions Court after pleading guilty to throwing a drink carton in a public place. The offence took place in front of a house at Jalan Lavender Height 42, Taman Lavender Height, on 5 January.
