    A 61-year-old man was fined RM6,000 by the Seremban Sessions Court after pleading guilty to running farming and livestock activities without a permit in the Angsi Permanent Forest Reserve. Lee Kai Sang was accused of planting calamansi, durian and bananas and rearing stingless bees and freshwater fish in a pond at Compartment 55 of the reserve last August. Judge Shahrul Rizal Majid also ordered two months' jail if the fine is not paid.

Mohd Suhaimi Yusof was also given a two-month jail term for each charge if he fails to pay the fine. He was charged under Section 233(1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
