A house in Kampung Muhibbah, Miri, collapsed and was swept away by a river current last night. The six family members living there survived and are now taking shelter at a neighbor's house. The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the house is 50 percent unsafe to occupy.

Man found dead in a room at Kampung Senadin Jaya, Miri
A man was found dead in a room of a house in Kampung Senadin Jaya, Miri, this morning. Firefighters from the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call at 6.23 am and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later. The victim was pronounced dead by Ministry of Health personnel, and the body was handed over to police for further action.

Sarawak hunting team captures nine crocodiles in four-day Kuala Baram operation
The 'Eric Cat' crocodile-hunting team captured nine crocodiles during a four-day operation in Kuala Baram, Sarawak, which began on September 2. The team's largest catch was a 14-foot crocodile caught last night. The team will take a two-day break before its next operation at Sungai Teru in Baram.
