A house in Kampung Muhibbah, Miri, collapsed and was swept away by a river current last night. The six family members living there survived and are now taking shelter at a neighbor's house. The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the house is 50 percent unsafe to occupy.

Man found dead in a room at Kampung Senadin Jaya, Miri
A man was found dead in a room of a house in Kampung Senadin Jaya, Miri, this morning. Firefighters from the Lutong Fire and Rescue Station received an emergency call at 6.23 am and arrived at the scene 10 minutes later. The victim was pronounced dead by Ministry of Health personnel, and the body was handed over to police for further action.

Licensed hunters capture three crocodiles in Kuala Baram operation
A joint operation by licensed hunters and the Sarawak Forestry Corporation in Kuala Baram captured three crocodiles on Wednesday night. Residents are advised not to approach the reptiles and to report sightings.
