    Seventeen MADANI Kita (PMK) programmes will be held nationwide this year, run jointly by J-KOM and the Prime Minister's Department's PACU. J-KOM director-general Mohd Hisyamuddin Ghazali said the programme began on 27 June and has so far been held in Chuah, Kota Raja, Sepanggar and Simpang Pulai. The tour continues next week in Bayan Baru, Kuantan and Gopeng, where the event at Dewan Orang Ramai Rapat Setia targets about 2,000 visitors.

    Public Services Commission chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Jailani Muhamed Yunus said no restrictions are imposed on nurses hired through walk-in interviews who want to move to the private sector or work abroad once their contracts end. He said SPA's focus is now on a replacement plan to recruit new staff. He spoke after officiating the Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat programme and the SPA MADANI 2026 adopted-village project handover at Kampung Orang Asli Ulu Chenein, Sungai Siput.
