Thai cook held by JPJ for driving with expired road tax
A Thai cook was detained on Jalan Genting Kelang in Kuala Lumpur for driving a Mercedes with an expired motor vehicle licence. In the same Ops Luxury sweep, a Chinese driver was held on Jalan Stonor for having no competent driving licence. Both vehicles were seized at JPJ Kuala Lumpur for investigation.

Remand on Azeez not extended, ex-Tabung Haji chairman to be freed today
Kuala Lumpur: Former Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim is expected to be released this evening after police failed to extend his remand. His lawyer said the application for a further three days under Section 420 of the Penal Code was rejected, and Azeez is due out before 5pm. He and two former TH officers had been remanded over a fraud case linked to TH hibah.

Azeez denies choosing to wear lock-up clothes, says it was police SOP
Former Baling MP Datuk Seri Azeez Abdul Rahim has denied claims that he chose to wear purple lock-up clothes and handcuffs when brought to the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur. His lawyer, Datuk Amer Hamzah Arshad, said Azeez was in police custody and was ordered to change clothes according to PDRM's standard operating procedure. The court allowed a two-day remand order against Azeez.

JPJ Seizes 37 Cars in KL Night Raid Over Extreme Mods
JPJ's Ops Ekstrem in Kuala Lumpur early Sunday morning led to the seizure of 37 vehicles with extreme modifications like air suspension and flame-throwing exhausts. Azeez's son says father detained at Dang Wangi, to be charged tomorrow
Mohamed Khairul Azman claimed his father, former Tabung Haji chairman Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, is now detained at the Dang Wangi police station and will be remanded tomorrow. Azeez is scheduled to be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow under the MACC Act 2009. His son expressed sadness and hoped for a fair legal process.
