1. House in Kampung Baru Cendering destroyed 90 percent in fire

   An elderly man, Ismail Ali, 65, escaped after his house in Kampung Baru Cendering, Kuantan, caught fire last night. The fire destroyed about 90 percent of the semi-permanent house, and the operation involved firefighters from BBP Taman Tas and BBP Indera Mahkota. The cause is still under investigation.

2. Two former childcare workers in Kuantan plead not guilty to neglecting, abusing children
