Road repair at Kampung Grait-Git collapse to start this week
Physical rehabilitation works on the collapsed roadside linking Kampung Grait and Kampung Git in Puncak Borneo are expected to begin this week or next, according to Puncak Borneo MP Datuk Willie Mongin. The project follows nearly a year of technical investigations after the September 2025 collapse, with JKR Kuching overseeing the repairs.

Batu Kawa flood mitigation works on track, says Deputy Premier Dr Sim
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian said flood-mitigation works in Batu Kawa, Sarawak, are progressing rapidly in phases. He mentioned plans to invite media to the sites once the haze improves. The RM36.6 million Phase 2 project at Taman Desa Wira is ahead of schedule, with total investment in Batu Kawa exceeding RM200 million.
