   A total of 41 flights from various Malaysian airports to Jakarta were cancelled today following the temporary closure of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport due to volcanic ash from the Anak Krakatau eruption. Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd said the highest number of cancellations was recorded at KLIA with 30 flights.

   Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang has become a fallback for Jakarta-bound flights after volcanic ash from Anak Krakatau disrupted air travel in Indonesia. Two flights, one from Oman and one from Saudi Arabia, have been diverted so far, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM). Indonesia has suspended operations at eight airports, affecting about 170,000 passengers.
