1. Flood in Changkat Larah: evacuation centre opens in Kamunting tonight

   Flooding in Changkat Larah, Kamunting, in the Larut Matang and Selama district led to a temporary evacuation centre opening at Dewan Changkat Larah at 8.30pm tonight. Main roads in Taman Larah Damai and Taman Lela were reported flooded or cut off, and the number of victims is not yet confirmed.

2. Bukit Merah sanctuary aims to build 50-strong orangutan assurance population
