Tumpat student offered UUM place, worries about RM2,133 fees
Nur Hayati Ramli, 20, from Kampung To'oh, Tumpat, Kelantan, will register at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) for a degree in Economics Science but is worried about the RM2,133 tuition fee she has yet to settle. Her family, who are not well off, could only pay the RM714 registration fee, and the public can donate to her Bank Simpanan Nasional account.

Rubber tapper's son in Rantau Panjang saves for university
Mohamad Aminrullah Kamaruddin, 19, from Kampung Tasek Gondang in Rantau Panjang, works as a rubber tapper and does odd jobs to save money for his studies at UniSZA, Terengganu. His parents had to borrow money to pay for his fees. The Raja Shamri Foundation also gave him a laptop and cash.
