KPPA: Stop repeated errors in public sector human resource management
Public Service Director-General Tan Sri Dr Wan Ahmad Dahlan Abdul Aziz called for an end to repeated errors in public sector human resource management by addressing root causes. He said this at the Public Sector Human Resource Management Conference at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre today. JPA has carried out 61 consultation programmes since 2024.

Secretaries' seminar in Bangi puts focus on AI skills
The Raikan Setiausaha 2026 seminar was held at Bangi Resort Hotel with over 150 participants from ministries, government departments and the corporate sector. Its project director, Mohd Shegy Jalil, said secretaries must master AI and new skills to stay relevant rather than treat technology as a threat.

F1 Bahrain GP preparations at Sepang 80 pct complete, says minister
Preparations for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit are 80 per cent complete, Youth and Sports Minister Dr Mohammed Taufiq Johari said in Putrajaya. Upgrading works at SIC began on Sept 7 and 500 volunteers have been identified for training. Malaysia will host the race from Oct 2-4, bringing F1 back after nine years.

MACC hands eight governance recommendations on JPN shop lot rentals
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission presented eight recommendations to the National Registration Department to improve governance of shop lot, stall and kiosk rental contracts. The recommendations were presented at JPN headquarters and cover application mechanisms, written agreements and security screening of private workers. JPN welcomed the recommendations and signed a Governance Improvement Report.
