Unemployed man jailed four months for extorting woman by Melaka River
An unemployed 33-year-old man was sentenced to four months in prison by the Ayer Keroh Magistrate's Court in Melaka after pleading guilty to extorting a woman by the Melaka River, Kampung Morten, on September 1. The accused, Muhhamad Nazirul Jasmi, had demanded RM200 from the victim, Nahzatul Farahin Abdul Gharapar, 36, in return for her lost mobile phone.

Retired army officer with 'Datuk' title charged with outraging modesty of golf caddy
A retired army officer with the title 'Datuk', Yahya Hashim, 68, was charged at the Ayer Keroh Magistrate's Court with using criminal force to outrage the modesty of a 20-year-old caddy.
