Sibu temple gives RM500 monthly to siblings who lost father in April crash
In Sibu, the Eng Ann Teng Tua Pek Kong Temple Charity Trust is giving RM500 a month for a year to two siblings whose father died in a road accident in April. Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng witnessed the handover and said he had also sought help from Socso and the Sibu Welfare Department.

RM422,500 for senior citizen and PwD programmes in Sarawak
The federal government has allocated RM422,500 for senior citizen and persons with disabilities (PwD) programmes and training in Sarawak. The announcement was made at the launch of the Ritma Kehidupan Harmoni (RHYTHM) Programme and Miri Division PwD Therapy Programme at PIBAKIS Miri Hall. Nationwide, the RHYTHM programme targets 6,500 beneficiaries with a total allocation of RM5 million.
