    A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed in Miri between Imasa Dinasti Sdn Bhd and SACOFA Sdn Bhd to enhance road and digital infrastructure for the Kenyalang Smart City project. The government has identified a 5.2-kilometer alignment for roads, while SACOFA's digital infrastructure is estimated to cover about 3.5 kilometers. Existing roads will be upgraded to four lanes, with work targeted for completion in under two years.

    The Miri Lorry Terminal project in Sarawak has reached 70% completion of its earth filling works. Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin said the remaining works are expected to be completed by the end of March next year. The terminal is intended to be Sarawak's first dedicated lorry terminal to serve the freight and logistics industry in Miri and northern Sarawak.
